Here, the presenter explains the simpler ways of rounding off in instances of doing away with large decimal numbers without changing their mathematical meaning. This video shows some examples of decimal numbers such as 0.25, 25.7, 0.00042 and solutions on how to round them off to a required number of decimal places. It continues to give examples of rounding off numbers to the decimal places indicated in the brackets. By the end of this clip, a student should be able to round off any given numbers to the nearest number of decimal places required.
