Description

In this clip, the presenter puts it clear that all trailing zeros in a decimal number are significant. He illustrates the importance of zeros in decimal numbers because many fail to determine the number of decimal places with the given zeros. It gives examples of different numbers with different significant figures explaining the importance of zeros in their respective places. All trailing zeros in a number without a decimal point (whole number) are considered to be insignificant (not significant).
